What if we ran away, from everything I was paralyzed...all weekend You’re so perfect...just not in a medical way The strength it takes, to be with me Oh yeah, alright What if we finally said... fuck everything I’d be terrified... all weekend You're so perfect Just not in a medical way These mistakes... you see in me Oh yeah, alright What if we ran away...what if we What if we ran away You’re so perfect What if we ran away
2.
These tidal waves Drive us insane Your holy water, Burning skin Like acid rain And I knew that he would always blame me The worst got worse With hollow lips that cannot breathe Does it make it right Does it make you wanna leave Just wake up And go to sleep I knew right before you left There’d be nothing left for me And it’s just not worth waking up for
3.
I knew I’d miss you But you’re already gone Another story And the pictures are hand drawn Your days left here are covered now in grey I knew I’d miss you But at least not today And you’ll continue to be beautiful But I’m already gone Take a step back and remember what you said Close your eyes on purpose On a hospital bed So lonesome, so broken Collapsing with each breath I knew I’d miss you I knew I’d miss you And you’ll continue to be beautiful But i’m already gone
4.
And we say the things we don’t say enough. When the outside world has given up. And we’ve been sick all winter and my brains not any better but anyway... but anyway. She said to write it down And then to throw it away I love you, she said now anyway. So walk this off, blood at your feet Every day Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. And we’ve been sick all winter and my brains just getting bitter... but anyway... but anyway. She said to write it down Wish I didn’t throw it away I hate you, she said now anyway. She said to write it down And then to throw it away I loved you, I used to anyway. She said to write it down And then to throw it away I love you, I love you. But anyway, anyway The outside world.

It’s just another lesson learned It’s just another bridge to burn And here we go the pages turn And here we go the pages burn This could mean the world to me But I was too blind to see What’s another word for me Paul you’re just a tragedy.

And I watched your last breaths, Can’t erase it from my mind. Year started in a mess While I pause and repine. Your songs sound much sadder now And I’m grounded for now But this cycle has a charm As I reached out my arm and placed it on your chest And I dared you to say I dared you to say something and I dared you to say... something. You never heard my songs And you never hummed along Disconnected at best When everything went wrong Your songs sound much sadder now And I’m drowning for now But this cycle has a charm As I reached out my arm and placed it on your chest And I dared you to say I dared you to say something and I dared you to say... something

Ordinary 03:47
Nothing’s safe these days Cause you don’t deserve something as terrible as me. And these idle hands... are broken. So dismantle me and lay me down to sleep. Ordinary And it’s working against me, But I like it... but I like it. And I’m so ugly but I’m sure that you can see that we’re Ordinary And it’s working against me, But I like it... but I like it. Ordinary We’re so ordinary Ordinary And it’s working against me, But I like it... but I like it. What is wrong with everything

Palm Mutant 04:58
It seems so impossible Saw your name in a book once And I tore out that page You’ve been in my thoughts now For what seems like days But maybe i’m too wide eyed Will you suffer me? Only you can bury me How we hid beneath A different sky each night Will you suffer me Falling apart and breaking Must be more to me Or maybe I’m too wide eyed This is not an apology It seems so impossible
9.
Resolutions 05:01
I’ve been thinking about my thinking and getting lost in nothing. I’m pretty sure there’s a melody in your name that I’ll never sing. You used to sing me to sleep But now we barely speak You used to sing me to sleep But now... It’s the first day of a new year resolutions... are all here. I’m pretty sure there’s a melody in your name that I’ll never sing. Wake up (you used to sing me to sleep) come home (but now) I’m sorry Resolutions are all here.
10.
And you walked away Out of air Where your head could lay And have nightmares Of you and me This reality of you and me Tiled floor symmetry It guides the way From you to me Fluorescent bulbs light the way To where your head will finally lay And we all die alone In houses we don’t own I know that you’re alone The white lines on the road Will guide you home A new year Withdrawn flight And I wasn’t there Your last chance at such heights Did you even care? I wish I had waited up with you
11.
So stay bright light and I’ll just turn away. And I wrote down, a thousand things...I loved about you. One for each day...and ten when your away. So stay bright light and I’ll just turn away
12.
What a waste I’m amazed at just how alike we are. We’re trying but we’re hopeless we’re barley hanging on. But we don’t care, That they don’t care. This life it’s a lullaby and we’ll keep playing Never asking why. But we don’t care, That they don’t care.
13.
Hurry up ‘cause I wanna leave This could be the start and end of everything So tell me what did you mean when you screamed nothing? Remember when we used to sing of water on leaves? That meant something A dull spark What use is a shadow in the dark? This could mean everything So hurry up, ‘cause I wanna leave This could be the start and end of everything Get me outta here Slowly, but surely It’s alright, I’m not sure of anything at all We play hopeless And oh my god We’re good at it We’re playing to a heartbeat Sometimes not making a sound Tears threatening to finally fall down You carried a note for too long The singer dies we all love their songs I’m leaving tomorrow, but i’m staying today.
14.
And I wrote your name...on a...paper airplane. And I threw it away. It’s not the same...as it...was yesterday... So pick me up...and put me away...up on a shelf for another day.

about

This album was an endeavour in capturing the magic of our favourite albums of our youth. During the rise of CDs in the 90's, albums became longer, seeing as you could fit 70 or 80 minutes on a disc over the normal 45 minutes for a vinyl LP. So in this case, we figured 'more is better' and delivered an album that clocks in at a hair under 60 minutes. This meant it had to be a double LP because we still wanted people to partake in the ritual of being bound in the physical world to this record; to touch it and know that they hold this story in their hands. We know we're asking a lot of your time, but our serving suggestion for this record is to find a good set of headphones, a comfy beanbag, slow the fuck down and come on this journey with us.

Also, we think $1 per song is pretty fair for an album that took 6 people 4.5 years to make.
